Funding and Grants

The Academy of Management Ghana (AMaG) supports scalable applied management research that has the potential to improve management practice in Ghana and beyond. We also help students and early-career academics overcome financial barriers to attending our conferences and workshops.

Funding and Grants

The Academy of Management of Ghana (AMaG) runs a small grant scheme that provides financial support for specific management projects, global south focused social research, or scholarship initiatives. AMaG funded projects normally require formal proposals, regular reporting, and compliance with contractual agreements. We also provide support for students and early-career academics to overcome financial barriers to attending our conferences and workshops. Funding can cover travel, accommodation, and registration fees. Awards are granted based on the applicant's financial need, the relevance of the event to their field, and their contributions to their community and AMaG's mission. The number and value of scholarships vary for each conference, depending on available funds.
